There is so much about this Malaysian Air disaster that just defies credulity!
We, the global public, is definitely getting the ‘mushroom treatment’ — they are certainly keeping us in the dark, just occasionally dumping semi-digested garbage at us.
Yes, I fully understand that there is a LOT of very sensitive issues involved to do with national security of multiple countries, satellite spying, radar capabilities etc. etc.
But, at the same time, as many folks have started to point out, it is NOT good that we, especially the U.S., can just totally lose sight and track of a Boeing 777.
Of course they know much more than what they are letting on.
That the debris spotted off Western Australia can only be checked out in DAYLIGHT makes no sense.
What has happened to the Black Box detection PINGS — that should last for 30 days?
You don’t need daylight for that. Planes can drag the necessary detectors, in the ocean, 24×7. We are talking 2014, not 1914. We have such amazing avionics.
Heat Seeking technology?
Radar — portable radar?
More satellite imaging?
As I have already said there are undersea microphones and detectors for tracking submarines and tsunamis.
Does NOT make sense to me.
