Below  is the the schedule for ALL the “Super Moons” for 2014, 2015 & 2016. He actually has it all the up to December 2100! Not sure about you, but I don’t plan to be around that long.

Notice that they tend to come in threes.

That was the case last year two. We had 3 in a row.

They are harder to spot and appreciate in the “New Moon” configuration.

Note that the ‘orange’ color of the moon is just the normal dust in the atmosphere tinged by some pollution. We, however, don’t have that much smog, as yet, up in Central New Hampshire. Light pollution is a bigger problem — with more and more people scared of the dark moving up here!
