While this is interesting news, I do not think that it is necessarily sinister or points to anything nefarious. Article, per the norms for U.K. tabloids, fails to point out IF the 4 MH370 passengers involved are RELATED. Plus somebody had a spare ATM card, was able to get a replacement card from the bank or, worse case, somehow managed to get a working card fabricated.

My druthers is that this is innocent despite what it is made to look like. I think these 4 were related and a surviving relative was trying to get some — possibly much needed — funds out. So just a family transaction. It would also appear that somebody had access to PINs or passwords. I think it is a family member. I could be wrong, but I am not going to get too excited about this development.

An interesting map from the same U.K. “Daily Mailarticle.

To me it highlights how far OFF course they are trying to search for this plane — and that we have yet to find ONE scrap of wreckage from this plane.

Do you realize that 5 months later NOBODY has even tried to explain WHY the Transponder was turned off and why they think the plane flew for so long in radio silence — and where was it heading?
