So much for this pope’s pacificity and belief in prayer!

Push comes to shove he doesn’t call on God — he, of course, knows better!

Claims to the Vicar of Christ. And if we really want to get technical he has NO standing with the U.N. because the Vatican City State only has ‘Permanent Observer‘ status.

So why is he asking the U.N. to intervene as opposed to God?

This is the stuff that really confuses me. It was HE who prayed to God on June 16, 2014 — and the Vatican confirmed that in a Press Release (above). So he didn’t have a problem two months ago in trying to drag God into this. So now why is he asking for military intervention. What is he trying to say?

To me what makes this even more strange is that it comes less than a week after Sri Lanka’s Test Match captain, the ever-angelic Angelo Matthews, thanked God for Sri Lanka’s victory over Pakistan (though much of the victory can be attributed to a Buddhist). So, am I to go away believing that Angelo Matthews has more clout with God than the Pope? If so I want Matthews as Pope.

Strange. Very strange.
