Bloody MetroCast!

MetroCast LIES!

MetroCast sucks — but doesn’t even do that very well.

Internet service went down again this morning, around 12:12 am — and was down till 2 am.

That was why I could not do any posts.

Others in New Hampshire experienced the same problem.

So repetition of the outage we had just 48 hours earlier.

Now I have hardly any bandwidth. Check VERY TOP speed reading. 4.17 Mbps! Jesus wept and so did I.

Called them UP. They lied. They lied through their rotted teeth.

I only went BACK to MetroCast with great trepidation. I have been through all of this with them before. But the 15Mbps (x2) I was getting from TDS was just not enough.

They lied to me that this ‘hardly any bandwidth’ was MY problem and that there were NO problems in my area.

LIARS.

MetroCast is doing major work at their Rochester, N.H. data center.

Others in N.H., all around the Lakes, are not only have OUTAGES but suffering reduced bandwidth.

If you are on MetroCast check your bandwidth using GSTNetworks.net or Speedtest.net.

You might not realize that your bandwidth is down. I can tell a 1Mbps drop in bandwidth. It is a talent.

Gather that the MetroCast woes will continue till about Tuesday of next week. Heads up.

MetroCast sucks badly and MetroCast lies.

Right this very second, I am on Chat, with TDS (and as some will attest, when I want I can chat very persuasively). I am getting one of my 15Mbps lines back from TDS at a reduced price! I am then going to use a ‘bandwidth aggregator’ and have both TDS and MetroCast providing me with both download/upload bandwidth — bonded. That way when MetroCast goes down I will still have 15Mbps bandwidth through TDS. I do know how to design networks — redundant ones at that.

MetroCast sucks BADLY. MetroCast lies.

Beware of MetroCast.

I am ditching MetroCast as soon as TDS (or someone else) can offer me MORE Bandwidth.

P.S., MetroCast is sending a technician on Saturday. Wow. Bastards. It is free. So I will make him jump through hoops outside just for fun. Real nice to the last guy. Made sure that he didn’t even have to step outside in the cold. This guy on Saturday. I will have him climbing poles up and down the road. I know the routine.
