This is the annual, much anticipated “Great Waters” chorus concert. The other concerts during the season done by “Great Waters” is when they host other performers. THIS is their ‘in-house’ show. This goes back to the origins of “Great Waters”. Choral music in the Summer for the good folks of Wolfeboro, N.H.

Devanee is singing with the Chorus for her second year. So, of course, we are pulling for this even more — though, of course, we are involved these days with all the GW concerts.

Last year was brilliant and I am NOT just saying that because Devanee sang with them. It was good and I think it was a packed house. This year should be great as well. Good selection of songs. I will get, as with “Clearlakes Chorale“, get to hear much of it before hand as I will be taking Devanee for rehersals and helping, most of the day Friday & Saturday, with setup.

How Will U.S. Congress Treat Pope Francis After He Called Capitalism “The Dung Of The Devil”?

Yep, this pope actually said that. Capitalism, the “dung of the devil”!

I don’t have to make this stuff up. This pope is the master of putting his flat foot (and yes he is flat footed as you would know IF you read my latest pope book) in his mouth.

Here, check it out in the “New York Time“.

Well, Francis is scheduled to address a joint session of U.S. Congress, on Capitol Hill, in Washington D.C., at 9:20 am on Tuesday, September 24, 2015 during his 6-day, September 22 to 27 visit to the U.S.

John Boehner, a devout Catholic invited him to address Congress, towards the end of 2014. Pope Francis will become the first pope to have done so.

Boehner’s invitation was before the Pope start his all out rampage in 2015 against capitalism and global warming.

Some members of Congress, particularly Republicans, are likely to have issues with what the pope has been saying, of late, about capitalism and global warming. Not sure whether they will want to be ‘seen’ with a man that is bashing an INSTITUTION so near and dear to them. Isn’t calling capitalism the ‘dung of the devil’ what you would expect from an out and out commie? [Talking of which why was Francis taken back when he was presented a Crucifix in the form of a commie hammer and sickle?] So basically Congress will be addressed by a commie! Not sure how that will go down.

This is going to be interesting. Mark the day. Tuesday, September 24, 2015.

Hospitals Charging For Crutches Is A Crime Against Humanity.

Why can’t U.S. hospitals have some kind of ‘rental’ or recycle scheme for crutches. Charging patients — or the insurance company — for them seems so exploitative and duplicitous. Most people only need crutches, worst case, for 6 weeks. So why can’t hospitals have a scheme to deal with it.

Yes, of course, charging for crutches is an EASY way to make money. Stealing candy from kids. It, to me, is a disgrace. Crime against humanity.

No wonder U.S. healthcare costs are through the roof.

This is wrong. Very wrong.

The swap shop at our dump invariably has multiple sets of crutches waiting to be taken home by somebody. I also see them at consignment shops. So people do want to get rid of them after they have healed. Why can’t you just take them back to the hospital?

Very easy for hospitals to deal with it — other than the fact that ALL they care about is fleecing US blind. Don’t charge for crutches to begin with or worst case charcrutchesre222ge a small nominal amount for a 6 week or 8 week rental. Then IF you return them to the hospital within that period — like when you go back to have your cast removed — that is it. You paid a small rental for the crutches. IF you don’t return them you could ask for an extension, pay a bit more, or pay for the full amount.

I can’t BELIEVE that Medicare and Insurance Companies don’t push for this.

Don’t give me any grief about hygiene factor etc. Wheelchairs, hospital beds and even operating tables are REUSED. So crutches can be sanitized. You don’t cringe when they put you in a wheelchair. YOU have NO IDEA who was in their previously or whether it was even wiped down after that! So, what is the big deal with crutches.

So, please lets start a movement to better utilize cructhes.
