Maya, now 5.5 years old, loves the snow. Born and bred in New Hampshire. She was born in the Summer so was around 5-6 months when she first encountered snow. Perfect age. Loved it from the start.

These days she will stay out in the snow as long we let her. This morning, given 7″ – 8″ inches of snow we had, she and Braxton were out there for an hour while I shoveled. They played. They laid around in the snow. Maya sometimes likes to follow me as I shovel.

This was when I brought her in. She is used to the snow between her pads. She also knows that it will all melt quite quickly when she is back in. She bites off the worst parts. When I came down 30 minutes after, following my shower, she was snow free BUT still a bit damp.

‘Sing’ The Animated Musical Is Very Entertaining, Great Songs & Quite The Yarn.

by Anura Guruge

sing2

Click to access IMDb.com listing for “Sing”.

singWe saw “Sing”, at the ‘Regal 10, in Concord (New Hampshire), on Monday.

We had seen the trailers many times on TV and it looked like our type of show. And it was.

It was very good. I would watch it again and I only watch the very BEST of animated movies more than once.

The songs, and the soundtrack, even IF I leave dear Cat Stevens aside, was memorable. The sound was rich, clear and powerful.

Decent animation BUT not up to the recent exalted standards set by Pixar or Dreamworks. The resolution and texture of the furs and skins was what we used to see routinely 5 years ago. But, nonetheless still decent and very watchable.

Good family movie, sans caveats. Highly recommended.

How could I NOT share this with you. Happen to see it, like most of this type of stuff, in the U.K. “Daily Mail” which I read a few times a day. Mainly in hope of news such as this that never makes it to CNN or MSNBC.

Hilarious. Wish it was done to the real thing though I would have to guess, at his advanced age, they are probably hard to locate.

I am familiar with the European ‘Femen‘ protests. They have protested, topless, at the Vatican.

So enjoy.
