I like the beauty of Alcatraz — but then again I never had to serve time on it.

Did the full tour of the Island in 2005. That was neat. I wish I can find the pictures from that trip.

Got to see it from multiple vantage points on our trip to California last year. What a beautiful island.

So the prison was closed 54-years ago, after 28.5 years in service.

I did a LOT of math in my youth — and since this predated calculators and computers it was all done by hand using slide rules and log tables.

I do remember doing Fourier transformations by HAND in College! Yikes. To be honest I really didn’t mind. I kind of liked math. It intrigued I and I liked the challenge.

Well, it is HIS birthday.

He is the one that came up with ‘Greenhouse Effect’ theory.

Kind of funny. ‘March 21’ is his birthday per the ‘Old System’ – i.e., the pre-Gregorian calendar. But, it would appear that in his time this would definitely would have been his birthday.

So, let’s tip our hat to this great composer.

Wow. Just 11-years ago.

And with Trump, Twitter changed the World!

Would Trump have become president IF we didn’t have Twitter? Something to ponder.

Amazing how much change can take place in such a relatively short period of time.
