We bought this Samsung 24.5 Cu. Ft. Side-By-Side Refrigerator, Model RS25H5111BC, from Best Buy (Concord, NH), and had it delivered and installed by them. The delivery was impressive and when they noticed that one of the doors was dented the delivery guys arranged to have a new door to replace that. That happened in about 2 weeks. So we were happy with all of that.
Then about four (maybe six) weeks ago, around the end of July 2017, it suddenly stopped making ice. Deanna did all the things you are supposed to do. She read the instructions, scoured the Internet and checked YouTube. She discovered it had ice build up on the mechanical part which releases the ice cubes. She defrosted the ice maker and it was fine for awhile longer until it happened again. After that nothing — maybe 3 ice cubes in 24-hours.
Called Best Buy. They were not interested. They told Deanna to call Samsung. She did. They said they would schedule a technician to make a call. We made an appointment. No technician BUT plenty of automated calls asking how the technician did!
Called Samsung again on Friday. They said a technician would call by Tuesday. It is Wednesday now.
