Chanukah/Hanukkah is a moveable feast. Depending on the year it can fall on any day between November 27 and December 26. See above image.

Typically it falls on the same day, e.g., December 12, every 19 years. You can see that in the 2nd image. But, sometimes the gap can be 46 years or maybe 57.

Well as it happens the last time Chanukah/Hanukkah fell on a December 12 was in 1971. Some of you may not have been born at the time!

So, this is rather SPECIAL. Savor it. Talk about it. Comment on it. Work out who was born in 1971 …
