I had CNBC on this morning in our bedroom while I was doing my post-run ablutions. I came out, brushing my teeth and did a DOUBLE TAKE and these thoughts flashed through my mind: “why is Anthony Weiner on TV, I thought he was in prison … why is Anthony Weiner doing a commercial? …. why would anybody be stupid enough to hire Anthony Weiner to do a commercial“.
Then I realized that it wasn’t actually Weiner.
Took me a second to work out that this must be the owner of Fisher Investments.
Then I felt BAD. Doesn’t he realize that he can be mistaken for Weiner. Hasn’t anybody told him that. Kind of spoils the whole commercial. Once the Weiner thought crosses your mind that commercial is toast.
Am I the ONLY one who sees this similarity — and I am acutely aware, from the hits I get here, that I saw a similarity between Frank Fritz Of ‘American Pickers’ and another jailbird.
Never mind. Ken Fisher is probably a billionaire and it doesn’t matter who he gets mistaken with.

What a 4th day, after the 3rd was lost, completely, to rain.
I like the South African team — as I can plainly be seen by posts such as this. I love their genuine camaraderie, that transcends color, culture and religion. Nelson would be so proud and happy of this team. There is no other team in the World, right now, that has this level of seamless integration and bonding. Always a joy to see them.
When India skittled them out for 130 with just a 207-run lead I was SURE that Virat Kohli and his boys will score that with ease. They had a day and a half to do so.
I, however, was hoping that South Africa might fight back and OH BOY, did they.
It was so exciting and tense. Wow. Really enjoyed it.
