I stumbled upon this sad news accidently. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Had to Google it myself.

Wow. Talk about the sad end to a legendary property. A true part of Boston’s colorful history.

I first went to ‘Durgin Park‘ 32-years ago, in September of 1986. I am sure I was told that it was Boston’s OLDEST restaurant. Well, they have modified that claim.

I am surprised that they are struggling. They always looked full. Yes, I haven’t eaten there in some years. I confess to that.

It was such a fun place. Great atmosphere.

I am sad. I can’t believe that they couldn’t have kept it going.

Oh, dear.

They say that the eskimos have 50 different words to describe snow. I can understand that.

There is snow and then there is snow.

Yesterday we got some heavy, wet, clingy snow. It stuck to the trees and stayed put. I woke up to a landscape of white. With all the trees it was very pretty.

Soon with sun and wind the trees will shed some of this snow. I just wanted to capture the snow at its height.

I happened to have my full-frame Sony a7 II in my hand when our town plow, that plows our road, went by. Had to take some pictures.

Occurred to me that some of you may not have ever seen a REAL, heavy-duty New England snow truck.

Hence, this post.

Did You Know That People Were Betting That Trump Would Spew More Than 3.5 Lies In His Oval Office Speech!

This is amazing. Hard to credit. Beyond the PALE.

This is, rightly or wrongly, the U.S. President. Not the President of Sri Lanka or some other ‘developing’ country. The President of the United States of America.

Americans openly betting that he would LIE more than 3.5 times. LIE more than 3.5 times. Even one lie is too many.

And THEY WON. They won big.

The Fact Checkers at ‘The Washington Post‘ reckoned that he lied AT LEAST 6 times!

Sacré bloody bleu!

Yes, we know he lies, BUT folks now taking it for granted.

This is SAD.
