The point-and-click market has been decimated — as you would expect. A smartphone is as good, if not better, than most low-end point-and-clicks.
An 84% drop is nothing to sneeze about. But, the camera companies, from what I can see, are still continuing willy-nilly with little apparent strategy. No wonder they are being forced to hike prices on their higher end models. Those are the only ones selling.
