You can see the BENT prop on the left and the scraped paint on the right prop.

They have moved the plane from the ice to an adjoining car park. It was blocking the main taxiway — so that makes a lot of sense.
I guess they are still waiting for the FAA to finish its investigation — and hopefully to get a new prop. That seems to be the only thing that got damaged. I have to suspect that a prop is not cheap. Plus most likely their insurance will go sky high.
Today’s installment of pictures. We had other things to do so I didn’t have much time. I shot these pictures from a different vantage — i.e., on the other side of the Bay. It was fairly busy. Tomorrow will be the BIG day. So, enjoy.
It really is getting time for me to get a new camera — in place of my aging Sony a7 II. But, I am still going to wait until late March. No point getting one while it is cold and there is snow on the ground. So, I am willing to wait until Spring. But, I wanted to start getting ready.
Last Summer I sold 6 or 7 of my Sony lenses, Full-Frame & APS-C along with my Sony a6500. I was down to two lenses: this 90mm Prime and my trusty 24-240mm zoom. Now I am just down to the zoom.
I listed the 90mm, on eBay, on a whim on Friday morning. I set a ‘Buy-it-Now’ price at $760. That was a win-win price. I would be happy with it and it would still represent a good deal for the buyer. Well this gentleman, from Texas, figured it out. I had also thrown in two of my six Sony batteries to sweeten the deal. So, it all worked out.
I am HAPPY. I am fairly sure I am now going to get the Canon EOS RP that was announced yesterday. Unlike with the Sony I am not going to get a bunch of lenses. I am going to limit myself to three at most four BUT here is the crazy thing. Canon lenses, compared to Sony, are so affordable that I can get TWO lenses for the price it costs for one Sony. That is the main reason I am switching from Sony. The lenses were way too expensive.
After the 2018 physical his statin (anti-cholesterol) medication was increased from 10mg a day to 40mg a day. That is a HUGE increase. With such an increase his total cholesterol number should have come down DRAMATICALLY. It did NOT.
Moreover, BAD cholesterol went UP & his GOOD cholesterol went down. Not good.
On 40mg of Crestor his numbers should have been close to perfect.
If these were my numbers, MY DOCTOR would have an heart attack! They are that bad.
I know about cholesterol, cholesterol medication & cholesterol numbers. I have watched my cholesterol for 40-years & have been on Lipitor (a Crestor equivalent) for 22-years. During all that time my dose has stayed at 10mg.
Here are MY results from 2018. They are NOT great, but a damn sight better than Trump’s. And that is with 10mg of Lipitor. If my dose had been increased to 40mg my total cholesterol number would be in double digits.
