This was also a relatively large study, i.e., 27,000 U.S. adults. So, I think you have to give it some credence.

I will confess I have become more and more skeptical on the benefits of vitamins over the years. I smile when folks older than I wax lyrical about how Vitamin C helps ward off colds.
Now this. I do NOT take Vitamin D or Calcium on their own.
I do, because my doctor insists that I do, take a single multivitamin for old men each night.
I do, however, know folks who take Vitamin D and Calcium. I will have to tell them about this study.
