A YouTube video. You really should watch.

My mini, 6-hours a day vacation in and around Concord, N.H. while Teischan is attending a one-week Summer ‘Art Camp’ at ‘Kimball Jenkins‘ in Concord. Rather than coming home after dropping her off (which would take me ~40 minutes), I opted to hang around the area, explore and get my usual exercise done. It has been awfully rewarding and I am so glad I am doing this rather than spending an additional 80-minutes driving back-and-forth.

As one of the pictures above shows you can see the ‘footbridge’ at the start of this trail from I-89. I have seen it hundreds of times but this was the first time I got off at Exit 3 (on I-89) and headed towards it. Until I checked my GPS map I had not realized, at all (at all), that this was two ponds connected by a large waterway. I thought it was a river. Not being a river explains why it was so, so still first thing when I got there.

Nice walk, but alas you heard the rumble from I-89 80% of the time until you get way down. But, still fun. I enjoyed it. Will be going back.

Didn’t see that many people. Just four walkers and maybe 5-bikes. But, this was mid-week, and unlike I most people go to work.

Check out the video. You should like it.

I felt privileged and blessed.
