Over the last few days I have not been able to avoid this Jardiance ad — and it INFURIATES I.

Isn’t it obvious?

This ad is bloody criminal.

This FAT guy, ‘Dimitri’, needs to LOSE weight — not take a drug.

Plain & simple as that.

If he lost 80 pounds he wouldn’t need Jardiance.

No mention at all that he needs to stop pigging out, exercise more & lose 80 pounds.

Annoys me intensely. It is criminal.

We should NOT be encouraging bad behavior & saying it is OK to be obese … we have a magic, EXPENSIVE pill for YOU.

Yes, there was a Trulicity commercial too — and I objected.

Diabetes is something I live with every day. The reason I exercise and watch my diet (though not that successfully of late) is for my diabetes.

Then I see these bloody ads.

Every SINGLE man shown is very overweight if not obese. Of course they are going to be diabetic. Obeseness is a leading cause for diabetes.

Lose 80 pounds. It can be done.

My Fitness Age Is 30-Years Below Actual, Per VO2 Max Measured By A Garmin Fenix 6.

by Anura Guruge

This is per my new Garmin Fenix 6 which I wear 24×7.

I will buy it. I am OK with being ’36’. I have a daughter who is 31. I can live with being 5-years older than her.

My youngest daughter didn’t believe me. She thought my fitness will be in the mid-40s.

Not sure whether this me any good, BUT I am sure it is better than a kick in the teeth.

Fragments Of Comet C/2019 Y4 (ATLAS) Start To Brighten, Per Ace Comet Hunter Terry Lovejoy.

by Anura Guruge

The first set of imaging is by veteran comet hunter Terry Lovejoy — who has discovered 6 comets. He knows his stuff & his forte is astrophotography. His pictures show that one fragment has brightened noticeably. This could be because it is getting ever closer to the Sun and as such continuing to become more ‘active’ — i.e., ‘evaporate’ giving out gases.

The comet has definitely fragmented. Of that there is no doubt or debate. The ‘orange’ Hubble picture shows 4-fragments and JPL (2nd image) already lists 5.

As the orbital diagram shows the ‘comet’ — or to be more precise — the fragments are still a longways out and we are moving away.

The fragments may be bright, but they are SMALL. So naked-eye visibility is questionable.
