Obviously the TRUE STORY
from 1996.

I do remember the incident from 1996. How can you forget? But, I didn’t follow — & as such know — all the in-and-outs, & especially Richard’s background prior to 1996.

I did NOT realize that this was directed by Clint Eastwood until the end. If I had known, I would not have been as surprised as to how well it was made. How well the story was told.

Quite the story too. Sad in so many ways.

I am glad that this movie was made. This story needed to be told in its entirety & I gather that Clint didn’t get much (if any) wrong.

Did not know anything about the amazing lawyer (friend) Watson Bryant. He was quite the guy. Impressive.

If you are into this kind of ‘thing’, I definitely recommend — but I appreciate that everybody might not be that interested in this story, especially if you were around in 1996.
