Last Time Easter Was On April 12, As In 2020, Was 2009 — 11-Years Ago.

Easter, your quintessential ‘movable feast’ can fall between March 22 (since it HAS to be after the Spring Equinox) and April 25 (i.e., essentially the 28-day lunar month).

So, this year’s April 12 Easter is towards the middle of that range. As such it happens on a fairly regular basis.

However, between 1998 & 1936 there was a 62-year gap. 62-year gaps happen with Easter — quite often.

But, I have as yet not been able to work out why we get those 62-year gaps. Sorry. BUSY. Very busy. SMILE.

11-year gaps for such ‘movable holidays’ is common — the 11 having to do with the 7-day week and leap years every 4-years. As you can see we do get 11-year gaps quite often, just not the last time around. 35-year gaps are fairly common too.

Easter is next Sunday.

Last time Easter was on a Sunday was last year. SMILE.

BBC 2009 “The Diary Of Anne Frank” Mini-Series To Start on “Acorn TV” June 11, 2018.

As part of her Grade 6 homeschooling Teischan just finished reading the book (obviously at my behest). So the timing is very propitious for us.

Though the series is 9-years old I do not think I have seen it before. So, I am looking forward to it. I have been by the house in Amsterdam but never did the tour.

I have had Acorn for at least 2-years. Maybe more. We do watch it a fair bit, so it is worth it for us. You should check it out. There is a LOT of content and some good shows.

I watched live, on CNN. Made a point to see it.
Didn’t think it would effect me much.
It was a done deal. This wasn’t like 2009.
But, I cried. Cried through all 55 seconds of it.
Tears just kept rolling down.
What a great moment, one that I didn’t think we would ever see.
I am optimistic.
