fujixt111I was reading a writeup of the Fujifilm X-T1 in the July 2015 issue of “Outdoor Photographer“, rather appropriately, while we were visiting Acadia National Park last month when I was struck by its atypically low ISO range in ‘standard’ mode. 200-6400. Wow. That is IT in RAW mode. I get better than that on my $330 Canon T3i. Yes, it appears that it can be pushed, just when shooting JPEGs to 100-51200 but that seems a bit of a kludge.
Just a thought. It was something that stopped me in my tracks.

I was, in my mind going “wow, this looks interesting” when BANG. 200-6400. I need as higher an ISO as I can reasonably afford given that I shoot a LOT of concerts, plays and ballets. The current 6400 I have is now really enough because I also do not have any really ‘fast’ lenses and do not use a tripod.

So for now the Fujifilm X-T1 will not be in my top-tier of potentials.
