This is one audacious and desperate step by Tumblr. Wow. Tumblr, over the years, has become synonymous with free porn.

I, however, don’t think that this will actually happen. I already see folks talking about various ways to circumvent the ban.

I had just started blogging when Tumblr started. I was excited. It sounded great. Yes, I signed up and created a few blogs. But, I didn’t like it. They were very much into SHORT posts and in thoe days that wasn’t my style.

Well, this is worth keeping an eye on.

Tumblr without porn sounds like a joke.

You really MUST see — to appreciate genuinely high quality photography.

Another wonderful person I met ONLINE thanks to this blog. This is one of the joys of blogging like I do. You meet some really cool people.

Yesterday, Torsten left a ‘Like‘ and this comment ‘That looks great‘ against my “6 images for the day — December 3, 2015” post! Since I don’t (for reasons I have never understood) get many comments on my posts — though I average 700 HITS A DAY — I clicked on his blog. I was BLOWN AWAY.

To have Torsten saying my photos “looks great” is BEYOND a compliment. I am honored and humbled. THANK YOU, Torsten. You keep up the good work. I will TRY and learn from you.

One of the wonderful things about blogging
is that you get to meet some real great people
from around the world.

As it now happens many of the people I regularly
keep in touch with and collaborate on my various projects
are people I have met, via blogging, over the Web.

Ian Hamlin falls into that category.
He happened to ‘like’ my post about fellow artist Stephen Hodecker.
I clicked on his name and I LIKED, very much, what I saw.
My type of work.
Way outside my budget and we no longer have any wall space left!

So check out Ian’s work.
What a talent.
