We like the Boston Public Gardens — which is next door to Boston Commons and often mistaken as being a part of the Commons. It is not. It has its own character and characters. We invariably stroll through when we are in Boston. Yesterday was no exception. The ‘Downton Abbey Exhibition‘ at the imposing ‘Castle’ was just but a block away. You could see the Gardens from the Castle. So, after the Exhibition, which was good, we walked the Gardens for about 45-minutes before taking the subway to the ‘Museum of Science’ (where we had parked) and then walking over to the ‘Cheesecake Factory‘ for dinner.

Dim Sum at China Pearl.

We went to Boston Chinatown, for 2018 Chinese New Year, on Saturday, February 24, as opposed to the Sunday, which is when we normally go (so as to enjoy the Dragon Parades etc.), because it was going to be bucketing down, most of the day, on the Sunday.

It was still fun. It wasn’t as busy as the 2nd Sunday of the New Year.

We still had Dim Sum at China Pearl.

It was warm. In the 50s. So, it was great to walk around. We ended up walking to Boston Common and spending an hours walking around the entire Common/Park.

Glad we went. Would have liked to have seen the Dragon Parades. We missed them last year too.
