SOHO and STEREO are two of NASA’s space-based Solar observatory platforms.
They are a wonderful resource with always stunning images and data.
Make use of them on Wednesday, November 27 & Thursday,
November 28 (Thanksgiving) to watch Comet ISON streak by or
INTO the Sun
— in real time.
Here, embedded in the images, are the links you will need.
My money is on Comet ISON surviving perihelion mainly intact. See if I am right.

SOHO’s LASCO C2 images … the red filter.
SOHO LASCO C3 images — the blue filter. What I have underlined might be a minor comet. SOHO sees a LOT of these. Sometimes a FEW a day!
Introduction to LASCO if you want to find out more about what the images show.
NASA’s STEREO and option. We showed a video of them yesterday.
