ICC World Twenty20.
Willow on Sling TV sucks, sucks, sucks BAD.
Program Guide is out by 2 to 2.5 hours
and titles OFTEN wrong.
So you can’t find the matches to watch.
You will sit there for 20 minutes
trying to find the match you want.
ESPN coverage of the 2015 World Cup
was 1,000 TIMES better!
Don’t get Willow on a Roku through Sling TV.
I hear Willow on an Apple Box is 100 times better.
July 2015 Update.
Willow, right now, is basically inoperable on Sling TV.
Do NOT PURCHASE.

I got our Roku 3, from DishWorld, 50% off, on February 21, 2015. I got it mainly for streaming BUT being able to get Willow cricket, from DishWorld, at $10/month, was definitely an influencing factor.
Within 24 hours of getting the Roku 3, I discovered, serendipitously, to my undisguised joy, that I can get the ICC 2015 World Cup coverage on it via the EPSN 2015 App (albeit for a price). Well being able to watch the World Cup was a privilege. From February 23rd till last week, i.e., April, I watched World Cup coverage — every day. Loved it. Great World Cup and ESPN did good. So I never really got around to watching any cricket on Willow other than to make sure that I was able to get it.
Within days of me signing up on DishWorld I saw that it was transitioning to become Sling. I didn’t worry too much at the time. I had the Roku 3 (at 1/2 price) and I was watching the World Cup. I was happy.
One day while idly looking through the Roku Channel Store to see what other channels were available I saw the new APP for Sling TV. Just to see what would happen I subscribed to it. To my delight it started up — with my DishWorld credentials already in place. It was seamless. Didn’t have to logon. I was already in. The same programming I had on DishWorld was available on the Sling TV APP — albeit in a more user friendly format. MOREOVER, when it came to Willow cricket they had a match description for each timeslot! Yes. They actually had a working, usable electronic program guide (EPG) for Willow cricket. Good. Good. Good.
I have watched about 30 minutes of Willow cricket over the last few days. I hate to admit it BUT I appear to have overdosed on cricket having watched at least 40 of the 49 World Cup games! I needed a break. Plus the World Cup was so good that everything else seems anticlimactic — at least when it comes to ODI. Yes, I know that the England v. West Indies series is coming up, on Willow, next week. Yes, of course, I will watch that. Not sure if there is a “Catch Up” mode type feature. What I do know is that you can go back in time, like with Catch Up, and select matches from a few days back. That will come in handy.
I will keep you posted. So far so good.
DishWorld to Sling International was a smooth transition. Bravo.
