Though I have spent a lot of time in and around delightful Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, the oldest Summer resort in the U.S. (and the nth home of ‘Mittens‘), I had not until last night heard of this quaint, only open 4 times a year, Church on a mountain top — Cotton Mountain Church. It is tucked away and it is not on the beaten track so to speak. I walk the delectable Cotton Valley Trail habitually but this church, despite its name, is nowhere close to the trail.

I will visit it soon, with my camera. No I will not make the Sunrise Service. It is close to 1am on Easter and I am still writing this.

I am glad I heard about this Church. I gather you can drive up to it. I think I am going to walk.

Happy Easter 2015.
