DPReview (which I visit often)
maintains a list of
“Most Popular Cameras”
on their sidebar.
This is the current list.

That my two current cameras, i.e., the Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 & Panasonic Lumix LX100, appear in the top 5, of course, makes me happy.
But this list has never made sense to me in that it has 4 Panasonic cameras and one each of Canon and Nikon. That is not what I see when I am out and about. I see a LOT of Nikons and then Canons. Very rarely do I see a Panasonic, though that could just be related to where I go.
Anywho, it appears that this DPReview list is based on the Page Views that they see. That makes sense. So it does not reflect what people are buying. Just what they are looking at, during a given period, at DPReview. That also explains the low % counts — given that people must view millions and millions of different pages on DPReview.
Out of curiosity I went and checked the Amazon best sellers. Panasonic does NOT make the top 9.

So the Amazon lists (hopefully) reflect true sales at Amazon as opposed to people checking out cameras. Yes, these make sense to me, Nikon & Canon when it comes to DSLRs and Sony and Fuji dominating the mirrorless — though I am surprised that Olympus and Panasonic didn’t make the grade with the Micro Four-Thirds.
