I have to confess I was surprised (pleasantly, I think). I had assumed, obviously erroneously, that National Geographic’s freedom to print topless (semi-nude) tribal pictures — once it’s trademark — would come to an end when ultra-conservative ‘Fox News‘ acquired 73% ownership of the iconic society (and hence the magazine) at the end of 2015. Well this is the 3rd topless picture they have published in 2016 — with two appearing in the January 2016 issue. Maybe the editor’s want to prove a point as to their independence and rights.
The June picture (above) harks back to the good ol’ days when the magazine was still in monochrome. Straight, unabashed full-frontal. To be honest I missed it the first time around! Then when I saw them during my second browsing … it was like … how did I miss those suckers?
Anywho. I am doing my job of documenting and chronicling the topless in NatG since 2014. This as you can see from the gallery below is the 8th since 2014. Enjoy. Reflect. Rejoice that NatG still can escapes the clutches of ‘Fox News’.
