Ditto of yesterday to speak. Again I took all these pictures, close to home, while walking the dogs around 5:15pm, this evening. The difference was that I was on my own and when I got to Prospect Mountain Road, I turned the other way. None, other than the reflection in the puddle, are from our yard!

Took all these pictures, close to home, when Teischan and I walked the dogs around 5:15pm, this evening. I needed her help because I knew I would be taking a few pictures. A couple are from our yard — in passing. The others are from our road and on Prospect Mountain Road. Maybe tomorrow I can again venture further afield. All UNTOUCHED. Straight out of the camera.

These, alas and alack, are not from our yard. I had to drive about 3 miles to capture these. They were all in one ‘wet area’ grove. I hadn’t been past there in a year BUT had a hunch. It paid out. The sun was setting and hitting the foliage nearly horizontally. Plus, I used the ‘High Dynamic Range’ setting on my Sony a7 II to get the maximum color saturation. Mainly reds. Not that much orange — at least not yet. Enjoy.

The RAF, SUPREME, during the Falklands War.

The OLDEST Air Force in the World.

May not be the biggest or the most powerful in terms of weaponry BUT no other Air Force can even come close to its record of valor and victory.

No other Air Force can boast of anything even approaching the magnificence of the ‘Battle of Britain‘.

It is an Air Force that has never seen defeat in a war. Ah! The Falklands War!

I am so proud of the RAF. They always give me chills.

Thank YOU, RAF.

Happy Birthday.

And next year, 100 YEARS!

PLEASE join me a rousing rendition of “Rule Britannia“.
