This might be sacrilegious to say so,
BUT he reminds me of Barry Richards!

Barry Richards, in his glory.

I saw him for the first time today, opening for South Africa in the Test match against Bangladesh. Wow. He oozes class! Not even 23-years old.

A few years ago it was Quinton de Kock. He is now one of my FAVORITE cricketers. Now  Aiden Markram.

South Africa is blessed. Hashim AmlaAB de Villiers, Faf du Plessis, JP Duminy … and that is without mentioning the likes of David Miller. These guys can bat — bat seriously. What a batting unit.

As with Quinton de Kock, mark my word. Aiden Markram is going places.

P.S., I knew Barry Richards. Saw a LOT of him, playing for Hampshire between 1975 – 1979. I was a Hants. Cricket Club member during that time, and lucky enough to have Barry and Gordon Greenidge open for Hampshire.

It sailed majestically into its home port, Portsmouth harbor, Hampshire (Hants.) on Wednesday, August 16, 2017. I was lucky enough to catch it on Sky News. It was quite the sight. Wow.

Something to be happy and proud about while Trump tries to lead the world into another war.

British pride.

Made my day. Watch the YouTube and marvel.

Flag-Burning, Trump-Inciting “Hampshire College” Is NOT, I Repeat, “NOT”, In New Hampshire!

by Anura Guruge

Google “Hampshire” for all the latest NEWS.

“Hampshire College” Website. Click to access.

“Hampshire College” is NOT in New Hampshire.

It is in Amherst, Massachusetts.

Yes, there is an Amherst, New Hampshire
BUT it is NOT there.

Here is a MAP to help you get your bearings.

Boston is in Massachusetts.

I am in New Hampshire.

OK? Clear?

I just heard CNN (no less) refer to “Hampshire College” in New Hampshire!

There is MORE to “Hampshire” than New Hampshire AND I am allowed to say that because I lived in Hampshire (Hants) for 9 years BEFORE moving to New Hampshire.

“Hampshire” predates New Hampshire. That makes sense, right?

The name comes from “Hamtun” — the original name of historic Southampton.

So now YOU know.
