Mix of those taken at Home Depot & Hobby Lobby. Yes, I know that the latter ones are fake (but maybe I am making my own statement about that store {smile}). I miss flowers so this was a treat with all that snow and cold outside. Enjoy.

‘110 Grill’, Rochester, New Hampshire — Continues To Impress & Entice (Jan. 18, 2018).

We were impressed the first time we went — in May 2017 (shortly after they opened) — and we were VERY impressed and content the second time we went, last night.

That it has been so long between visits is just a reflection on our rather capricious eating out habits. We eat out fairly often, but we don’t typically make a point of going to a particular place. Last night was the 3rd time we had eaten out this week — and it had been in Concord (NH), Kittery (Maine) & then Rochester. It is more of a function of where we are at …

110 Grill is GOOD. Everything about it is Goldilocks right. Good food, good price, good service, good ambience. What else can you hope for? We really should make an effort to go there more often.

As is always the case, if it is on the menu, we ordered the (Asian) calamari as an appetizer — and looking at my pictures from May 2017 I see we did the same thing, as was to expected, on that visit. It was good. 2nd time I had had calamari in 5-days. If we are on vacation it would not be unusual for us to have calamari both lunch & dinner — every day! We like calamari. Their calamari is good.

I had their Barbados Chai Tea rather than wine. Very compelling. Then the Cuban sandwich sans the bread. Yep. I liked it. Deanna had a steak tip salad. That was good too.

Altogether a great experience. Highly recommended.

We had lunch there on Sunday, May 21, 2017, and I was pleasantly impressed. A very good experience overall. We will definitely be going back and I already signed up for the loyalty program (and am 60% towards my first $10 discount).

Teischan wanted to go to Walmart to get some more craft supplies and since it was such a beautiful day, and we hadn’t done much yesterday, I suggested that we might as well do lunch on the way.

We had seen this ‘grill’ a number of times given that we go to that ‘Walmart Mall‘ or drive past it at least 5 -6 times a month. We were under impression that it had just opened quite recently — like in May. We were wrong. They have been open since December. Wow. I wish I knew. I would have gone in much sooner. Our loss.

It was impressive in every way. Great ambience. Very modern, very pleasing to the eye, spacious and airy. We sat outside on the patio. That was first class and you could not have had a better day.

The service was impeccable! They really try hard.

The menu was good and catered to MY taste. I ordered the ‘Asian Calamari’ and the ‘Tempura Shrimp’. Now we are Calamari connoisseurs and will invariably order it if it is on the menu. This calamari was one of the BEST. It was good. On par, if not better, than the one I have at the ‘Cheesecake Factory‘ in Cambridge, MA when I visit the BostonMuseum of Science‘. The shrimp was also good and put to shame the ones I had recently at ‘Ruby Tuesday‘. We both had the ‘Kale Brussels Salad’ and that was good too.

I had a ‘Jameson Julep‘ given that it was Summer and I was outside. It was ‘OK’ but not to the standard of the ‘Mint Mojitos‘ served at ‘Uno

Actually this place, with all the flowers outside, reminded me, greatly, of the ‘Uno‘ in Concord, NH. That is not a bad thing. I love that Uno.

Initially I thought the prices were a tad rich for Rochester, but looking at the menu again I realize that they are not bad.

They even had live entertainment — starting at 3pm. It was ‘Johnnie James‘ of ‘Sweetrock‘ and he was good. My only gripe, and I made my feelings heard, was that you could not hear him from the patio! They — and it is a franchise — have spent a pretty penny on this place and they have piped music in the patio. But they don’t have a means to relay the live information, from inside, to the patio. So, I had to go inside to listen to Johnnie. That did not amuse me.

I recommend this place — highly. I will let you know when I visit again.
