Had to make room for the Volvo. We only have room in the garage & driveway for so many cars — for now 6. The Volvo would be seven. Don’t want to start parking cars in the yard. So, at least one had to go into storage. Had thought about putting BOTH Jags in storage BUT had trouble finding a place for one let alone two. So, decided to store the XJS. The XJ8 will get moved to the driveway with a fancy cover. But, I plan to continue driving the XJ8 when the weather is good. Since the Volvo is leased, & as such does carry a mileage allocation, having the XJ8 around will help.
Hoping that the Volvo XC60 will get delivered next week.
It has been in hibernation, under covers, in our garage since last September — albeit, permanently connected to a ‘Schumacher SC1319 1.5 Amp 6V/12V Fully Automatic Smart Battery Charger/Maintainer’. I have three of these Schumacher chargers. I had had very good luck with them. The green light to say that the battery is fully charged has been flashing all winter. And it sure did start on first crank. Takes a bit to get a V12 to start, but it sure did.
Took it for two short spins with Teischan — given that it is HER car. It is going into storage, in Laconia, on Tuesday. It will stay there for 2-years. Teischan will be old enough to drive it then. Stay tuned.

First time this year that we had all three of the British beauties out. The burgundy2002 XJ8 is my car and as such gets used year round. I have also been using the black1989 XJS, topless (of course), since around April. But the Green 1968 MGB had stayed in the garage, under wraps, until this Sunny Sunday. I had been trickle charging its (rather old) battery right through the winter, with occasional long breaks and much to my delight the MGB started, first time, even without me having to tighten the battery clamps.
So all three cars were out for the first (and since then last) time. Took both the MGB (with Devanee) and XJS (with Teischan) for spins — topless. It was fun.
Given that we got the XJS in June 2015 we have now had these 3 cars for over a year.
