They are best known for their relentless & ruthless missionary activity, commitment to education & intelligentsia, and their devotion to discipline.

Pope Francis now, whether he likes it or not, the most famous Jesuit of them all, the first Jesuit to be Pope.

The next most famous has to be St. Francis Xavier — the notorious, crusading missionary.

And then there was, thanks to him having been the Director of the Holy See Press Office for 10 years, nut-job, Federico Lombardi, S.J. (b: 29 August 1942).
