I have been having a LOT of hits, right through the year, with folks interested in ‘Cedar Waters‘. Well, I try to oblige. That is why I am here.

So, it looks like that they will be open as of July 4th. That should make a lot of people happy. I am actually surprised that they are not open sooner. But, they must know best.

As I always like to point out, remember two things.

  1. Female toplessness is not against State Law.
    ….
  2. From my long experience living waterfront in New Hampshire, all lakes in New Hampshire are no strangers to nudity after dark! SMILE.

These were all taken in our yard! Sorry. I actually had the keys to the Quest in my pocket and I was planning to go ‘drive-abouts’ to get some shots. But, by the time I was finished in the yard I knew I had enough for the day. Saved me some time.

It has been quite the wait. Even today it was breezy and that made it a tad chilly. I am not even going to try to dip my toe in the water. It is going to be cold. We are going to need a few weeks of 70F weather to warm the lakes. I will keep you posted.

March 21, 2016, ‘First Day Of Spring’ Snow In New Hampshire Lakes — WMUR Was Wrong.

Much more snow that I was led to believe. I didn’t watch the WMUR forecast last night — I was too engrossed in watching the highlights of Sri Lanka v West Indies on Willow TV.

But I did interrupt by #ICCWT20 viewing to catch the forecast on Saturday night. WMUR was emphatic. Snow would be to the South and East of Concord. Well we are to the North of Concord. So I was surprised by how much we got. Probably 4″ and a bit more in some places.

I shoveled BECAUSE I like to shovel. I have never denied not being strange. It was easy to shovel. Very light, very fluffy. It was beginning to melt as I was shoveling as the temp. was rapidly rising above 32°F. It was nice. Gave me an excuse not to run since it is an hour of shoveling or ‘the run’. The dogs were OK. I took them for a walk and they could play outside while I shoveled.

All the pictures taken with my Panasonic Lumix LX100.

Teischan who has been extremely distressed at the lack of snow this winter excitedly woke us up this morning, at the crack of dawn (i.e., ~8:40 am), to inform us that it has snowed and that there was snow on the ground. I knew that, at best, it could only be a dusting. But she was excited. Well I was NOT going to jump out of bed to check out a bit of snow. IF it was 4′ I might have made an effort to see how much shoveling I would have to do. Instead, while I cajoled Deanna to get me my coffee, I checked the snow from my pad! Technology is amazing. That is also how I check for rain, in the morning, these days to determine whether I can run or not.

Well it made Teischan happy. I went out after my shower — today being a day off from my 6-days a week (barring rain or temperatures BELOW 5°F (-15°C)) run. There was still snow. IT IS COLD. 28°F (-2.25°C)! That was a shock though I still did go out just in sweats without a jacket.

I assume it will all be gone by this afternoon.

60°F (15.5°C) on Christmas Day!

That would indeed be Christmas. I love this ‘Global Warming’. Bring it on.
