** As I said 3 days ago I had no doubts, right from the minute I heard about the torn up doctor’s notes, that he was on antidepressants. To me that explained, right away, one of the reasons why he would continue going to see doctors — when he did NOT like what they were telling him. He had to see doctors to renew his antidepressant prescriptions and he would have done that because many of these medications are addictive and he would not have wanted to go without them.
** Yes, Lufthansa will do its utmost to avoid blame on this, citing every conceivable law. And it is possible that they were well within their rights per the prevailing laws.
** I think there were 3 U.S. citizens on board, so U.S. lawyers will be involved and I already saw one on TV talking about it.
** Of course Lufthansa will not want to contemplate unlimited damages.
** Yes, it will be years, many, many years before a judgement is reached — and then the fun will begin as to whether Lufthansa will be around to pay up. Sad.
