I Became An Instantaneous Oil Futures Stock Trader This Afternoon At 2:30pm.

WOW! Talk about historic. Oil futures going BELOW $0.00. Oil prices, albeit in a futures contract, going below $0.00. Down to about -$32. Yes, MINUS $32.

Well, you don’t have to be Einstein to work out that they can’t be below $0.00 forever. Right?

Yes, short-term they might go down another $20. But, oil can’t stay below $0.00.

As some of you know I am a very active trader & investor. But, I have NEVER done oil before. Knew NOTHING about oil. 90% of what I do and what I have done is my sphere of experience/expertise high-tech. But, I am also uniquely equipped mentally & with the technology to do deep-dive research. And that is what I did. Flipped that magic-switch I have. Had my brain going in overdrive. Didn’t take long to work out what ETFs I needed to buy.

I had a fairly large stash of cash sitting on the sidelines just for an opportunity like this. SMILE. I pulled the trigger. No pussy-footing. I went in BIG. SMILE. V. BIG. Large trade. Now I am just going to sit back and wait. As oil demand comes back — as it has to FROM TODAY — I will be smiling even broader. This was insane.

So EASY. I am still smiling.

The New ‘Defender’ Razor — Impressive, Easy On The Skin … BUT, I Am Still Evaluating.

by Anura Guruge

Click to access their Website and check their compelling prices.

After having ads for it appear on my Facebook timeline, multiple times a day, I finally gave in and ordered one given that the blades for it were much cheaper than they are for the Gillette SkinGuard razor I have been using for the last few months with GREAT SUCCESS.

The ‘Defender‘ to be fair, is good. Impressive. Ultralight. Like a feature. Very flexible. And yes, it sure gets under your nose — in the nicest possible way.

Yes, given my ultra-sensitive (face) skin I did order the ‘Extra Sensitive’ blades.

No irritation. Feels good. Seems pretty close too. But, I have only used it about 4-times.

My problem is that given the TREMENDOUS success I had with the Gillette SkinGuard I am reluctant to abandon it in haste in case I end up regretting it.

So, I will continue using the ‘Defender’ for another couple of weeks until I can convince myself that it will work as well as the Gillette.

Promise, I will keep you posted. But, for the price it is CHEAP enough to try out YOURSELF. Give it a go. You will not regret it. You will be amazed how light it is.

Shaving has been the absolute bane of my adult life. I suffer so when I shave. It is torture. I dread it.

Over the decades I have gone to extreme lengths to make it bearable. Cost never a consideration. I have tried them all: razors, blades, electric. And I have suffered mightily.

Shaving has been the absolute bane of my adult life. I suffer so when I shave. It is torture. I dread it.

Over the decades I have gone to extreme lengths to make it bearable. Cost never a consideration. I have tried them all: razors, blades, electric. And I have suffered mightily.

In December 2018 I bought one of these because it was supposed to be gentle on sensitive skin. To be fair, it was better than MOST. But, after just 4-months I could tell the blades were getting dull! That is the bloody irony. The skin on my face is ultra sensitive and soft. Much softer than that of a baby’s bottom and as a father of 4 who changed MORE diapers than any, I would know. Part of it is that I do pamper my face and have done since I was a teenager. I put more oil and cream on my face than any female! The rest of the skin on my body, especially on the palms of my hands, makes rhinoceros hide feel soft. And then there is my stubble. Like metal shards! Hence why the blades of electric shavers have little chance — and life.

The Gillette SkinGuard commercials on TV spoke to I. They described my exact dilema.

This was I. I had to try it. I owed to myself.

Last Thursday, while at Walmart I got one and now realize that bloody Walmart overcharged me. C’est la vie.

This morning I tried it with much trepidation. I wasn’t going to take any chances. I used both ‘Shave Secret’ and ‘Cremo Shaving Cream’ as a base.

Then I shaved. Hallelujah. It was good. I am sold.

Wow. I hope this solves my shaving woes. I sure hope so.

Thank YOU, Gillette. I will never bad-mouth you again (I hope).

A Shaving Regimen For Ultra-Sensitive Skin: ‘Shave Secret’, Nivea, Hydrocortisone, Vitamin E Oil, Brut & Gold Bond.

by Anura Guruge

One of the supreme (and very frustrating) ironies of my life is that I have really, really soft and sensitive skin on my face, whereas the skin on the rest of my body is rougher and tougher than that of a grizzled elephant. Mosquitoes rarely bite me because they can’t penetrate my skin … The only reason I can attribute to this sensitive facial skin is that I, at the urging of who would eventually become my first mother-in-law, started using ‘Oil of Olay‘, on a daily basis since I was 18.

Well, shaving is a living hell for I.

IF I had any sense I would NOT shave BUT I don’t think I would be able to cope with a thick beard — though to be fair, I have never tried. The longest I have ever gone without shaing (even when I had a goatee in my early 20s) is probably 5-6 days!

Over the decades I have tried everything. Nothing works in terms of comfort. I suffer, I cringe, I itch, I fret.

About 7-months ago, I, serendipitously, discovered ‘Shave Secret‘ at Walmart. I have been using it ever since. It does work to an extent.

Now, however, I use it in conjunction with Nivea ‘Sensitive Skin’ shaving gel — which I had been using for a couple of years.

Of late I am making sure that I only use a disposable razor for but 3 shaves. Throw it away after that. Not worth the risk.

The latest addition, which has made a difference, is Hydrocortisone. That helps.

Then lots of Vitamin E and I use it at night as well.

And then … aftershave and my beloved ‘Gold Bond‘ (which I use liberally (and I worry that it makes me look too white)).

So that is the torture I go through — like this morning.

So PLEASE spare a thought for what I have to endure each time I have to shave — and I never go out in public without shaving.

“Shave Secret” Shaving Oil, Much To My Amazement & Delight, REALLY Works!

by Anura Guruge

Though I have been doing it, assiduously, for 50-years, shaving is something I really, really, really detest.

Believe it or not, despite all that shaving, I still have very sensitive skin on my face. I get razor burn and my skin itches like crazy after each shave — though I use aftershave, talc and liberal amounts of vigorous face slapping (to stimulate the circulation).

Over the 50-year period I have tried anything and everything that I can lay my hands on to help me minimize the torture of shaving. Nothing has really worked.

Then a few months ago, I saw this little bottle, with the words “Shave Secret” on it, in Walmart in the razor section. It wasn’t expensive. Under $5. I bought it. What did I have to lose?

I tried it. Wow. Sure made a difference. Was noticeable. My skin was much less irritated. The itching much less.

I have now been using it for a about 2.5 months. It is the only shaving aid I use. The Nivea shaving foam containers have gone unused.

Last week I ordered two bottles from Amazon.

I now use slightly more than what they recommend, i.e., 6 – 7 drops as opposed to 5. I also massage some drops into the skin after I finish.

Not sure what is in it. Suspect that there is some Vitamin E in there.

Whatever it is … IT WORKS.

It is impressive. I think ladies will find this of interest on multiple fronts.

Not expensive either. A bottle will easily last you 6 weeks.

So give it a try. I recommend it, highly — with no reservations.

For the last two weeks, all day, starting at 7am, it has been a constant barrage of chainsaws screaming, chippers chipping and heavy trucks trundling by with wood chippings and logs.

These pictures don’t do justice PLUS I didn’t trespass into where the major deforestation is taking place. This is a huge, 45 acre+, lot.

I am very pragmatic when it comes to trees being cut down. I do appreciate that it is a renewable source and that all of New Hampshire is said to be in its 3rd, yes 3rd, tree growth cycle.

I do not begrudge anybody from trying to make money. Making money is a noble endeavor. When I owned land I had thought about selling logging rights for money. So, I am NOT complaining.

Just sharing something than many, not living in central NH, may not realize.

I do see the irony. Oil prices are way, way down.

Firewood prices are UP and it has to do with Fracking.

What a world.

Click to access the Lucas Oil product page for this ‘stop leak’. I bought the gallon from Amazon and had it shipped, ‘Free’, thanks to my Amazon Prime.

Of course my Jaguar XJS leaks, not much, but it does leak. Yes, I knew that when I bought it. But from what I hear it is pretty hard to find a V-12 XJS that does not leak. So it is a question of finding one that doesn’t leak excessively.

Paul Bousquet.

When I took it in for it ‘full’ shake-down at ‘B-Boys‘, in Barnstead, N.H., by master mechanic Paul Bousquet, he steamed cleaned the block and had a good look at the leak. Told me it wasn’t worth fixing it because there was at least 12 hours of labour to try and do it properly. And I trust Paul. So I have been putting a little bit of oil every few weeks or so. That said, I have probably put 100 miles on the XJS in the last 2 months. So it doesn’t get driven much.

Then, this last Saturday, we visited (as we are wont to do of late), Kati & Gordon Preston in Barnstead, with my son Matthew. The Prestons, by any measure, are AMAZING people. Gordon, a fellow Brit, is a very proficient and creative, British-qualified engineer. Plus he drives Land- and Range-Rovers. He told me about the Lucas ‘Stop Leak’ and how he uses it in his latest Range Rover. Plus it is Lucas. As soon as I got home I ordered a gallon. It just came. Haven’t put it in. BUT, wanted to share with you. Don’t think it will totally stop the leaks. But if it slows them down I will be very happy. Oh, a gallon from Amazon cost $31.29.
