Quite a few, very well produced, U.K. nude charity calendars for 2018 — male, female and combined. I will try and share a few more with you.

For my catholic tastes this, the ‘Hitchin Rugby Club Ladies’ calendar, was the most appealing — partly because I am rather partial to rugby. Not a coincidence that in 2015 I also picked another rugby team — the Oxford University Women’s. But, in addition, some great pictures of these rugby playing ladies from Hitchin, and WOW — these ladies are toned.

I am not getting any calendars this year — after doing so for the last few years. The novelty has kind of gone, I think. However, I still like to check what is out there.

Last year as you must remember it was the memorable ‘Oxford University Women’s Rugby Team’ Nude Calendar.

Deanna is still using hers.

This year it is the competing British University — Cambridge.

And it is Unisex and there appears to be more men. I ALREADY ordered a copy for Deanna. See below.

Blues“: no, NOT the music.

And yes, the British media has already made all the jokes about “blue (orbs)“! Crude.

merch_cap_largeBlues” in this context is University ‘colors’ (or what they refer to as ‘Letters’ in the U.S.). It means that the person has represented Cambridge at one of the recognized sports. The term goes back to the “Blue Cap” one got when one was selected to play cricket for the elite Cambridge University cricket first XI.

Oxford University Rugby Football Club — Women’s (Nude) Calendar 2016: In Use.

I ordered 4 copies of the Oxford University Rugby Football Club — Women’s (Nude) Calendar 2016 for Christmas. Deanna wanted one and I gave one to my 23-year old son, Matthew. I gave another as a surprise Christmas present to a ‘character’ at our Alton Hannaford’s Supermarket. It made his day. I kept one, unopened, as a long-term investment. I might even have it listed in my will.

Deanna intended to use hers all along and I was happy about that. So it is on the wall, in our ‘Office Area’ (i.e., the entire 4th floor of this house), on her side, next to her table. We had not given it any thought until Teischan was up here over the weekend. She wanted to know why Mum had a calendar with naked ladies on her wall? That is when it occurred to me that I should take a picture for posterity.

I ordered 4 copies in total — initially just ordering one before I learned that Deanna wanted one.

On Saturday I received a BIG envelope from the U.K. with 3 calendars. So these were the 3 from my second order. I have yet to receive my first order for one.

Anywho … I gave Deanna her copy and she was pleased.

The other two are Christmas presents; one for my 23 year old son, who did try his hand at Rugby.

The pictures, in b&w, are of a high quality.

The calendar part, as you might be able to see from the ‘February’ and ‘September’ pages that appear above, is pretty basic, rather cramped and devoid of the usual annotations one has come to rely upon — e.g., holidays (e.g., Easter, Passover, Hanukkah etc.), phases of the moon. There are, however, a few Oxford Rugby Club fixtures listed. But I guess most people will not be that concerned about the shortcomings in the tabular part of the calendar.

I am glad I got these. I hope you ordered some too.

All I can tell YOU is that there has been a HUGE, DAILY interest in my November 20, 2015 post about the “Oxford University Women’s Rugby Team” nude calendar. No, I have yet to receive any of the 4 (yes, 4) calendars I ordered.

I happened to hear about the Newcastle initiative and felt compelled to SHARE it with YOU given that they are doing both men and female versions and I do NOT want you ladies to feel in any way deprived.

As I said with my “Oxford” post neither Deanna or I have any problems with tasteful calendars such as this — for CHARITY. Neither of us would have any qualms if our kids posed for such an initiative. Nudity is natural. Enjoy.

Merry Christmas.

I thought about it, all for a few minutes, and ordered ONE.
For a start it is for CHARITY.
Second I think, if I keep it unopened, it will be one heck of an investment
— down the road!
Deanna will probably want it.
If she doesn’t I might give it to my son.

IF you would like ONE
and are TOO SHY to order
or can’t afford it
let me know.
I will see if I can get one for you

Brilliant!

What you would expect from women going to Oxford.

Loved it.

As a father of 3 daughters I gave it some thought.

How would I react IF one or more of my daughters posed for a calendar like this?

What do YOU think?

I would be chuffed as punch. Way to go.

Nothing wrong here. Very artistic.

Made my day. I had to share it with YOU.

Following Deanna’s posted comment I realized that one calendar would NOT suffice.

So I ordered ANOTHER 3 for a total of 4.

Deanna will get one. My son will get one and one is a Christmas present for a v. special couple with British connection.

The last one I am going to put away, unopened.

Yes, I know that there is no reason, whatsoever, for me to feel sorry for Imran Khan, but I do. Yes, Imran had the world at his feet, and all the women he ever desired at his beck and call, all his adult life. He enjoyed a level of success in every sphere, and particularly with women, that strugglers like I can only gape at in amazement.

I have always liked Imran, 11 months my senior — despite the few controversies, in and out of cricket, that he got embroiled in. He was one heck of a cricketer. Always exciting whether batting, bowling or fielding. He was a giant. I have seen him in person a few times when we were both in England at the same time. Once, famously, I saw him in the car park of the Hampshire Cricket Club, Southampton Grounds, canoodling with a young lady. I did say “Hi, Imran” as I walked past. It would have been rude not to acknowledge him.

Other than all the pleasure he has given me as an outstanding cricketer, there are two things in my life that relate directly to him in one way or another.

1/ The title of my first, and financially my most successful book, “SNA: Theory and Practice“, in 1984, was conjured by a rather brilliant young lady who was an ex-SNAbook1FSgirlfriend of Imran’s during his time in Oxford. She was in charge of marketing for the publisher. I did not have a title for the book. But I explained to her what it was about and how I structured the book to first explain the architecture and then how the architecture was implemented. I was thinking along the lines of “SNA: Architecture and Implementation”. She came up with the much better title. Given that she knew that I was a cricket fanatic she would remind me, every time we met, that she knew Imran in the Biblical sense. Wish I could remember her name. So that is the first connection.

imranbook

2/ Imran explained to me why I so often get accused of being arrogant. Since Imran cleared it up for me it no longer bothers me, not that it bothered me overly, at any time, arrogance a great body armour against slights such as that. I couldn’t help it and still can’t. Despite my best efforts I can come across as arrogant and I am. Imran, in his 1988 book, “All Round View“, explained to me why he and I are both arrogant — though he, obviously, has better reasons to be so, than I. In 1988 I was living in the U.S. but had bought the book in one of my many trips back home. I was reading it one night, in bed, when I came across this paragraph about how his parents had brought him up to be arrogant. It was an Eureka moment. I sat up in bed. I realized. My (adoptive) parents too had brought ME up to be arrogant. It was a part of how we were brought up. Cultural. We, the first generation of post-independence kids to aspiring upper middle class families, were expected to be arrogant. It all became clear. Since then I don’t give a jot when my wife accuses me of insufferable arrogance. What can I do? My (adoptive) parents brought me up to be so. If you don’t believe me, ask Imran.

Anyhow. I feel bad for Imran. This was unnecessary. But I doubt whether he has any shortage of women clamoring to provide him with sucor.

All the best Imran. You deserve the best. Cheers.
