Today’s Gallery Of Flowers — June 11, 2021.

by Anura Guruge

The atypical heat wave is gone. We had some rain. Flowers are back in force. Quite the show today. So, I had to SHARE them with YOU. Enjoy.

Today’s Batch Of Flowers — June 8, 2021.

by Anura Guruge

It has been very hot the last 4-days. The heat is taking a toll on some of the flowers. Kind of distressing to see that some have withered & died. But, I think it is going to be cooler & more seasonal as of tomorrow. We could also do with some rain.

Some Of The Flowers That Regaled Me Today — June 7, 2021.

by Anura Guruge

Hottest day this Summer. But, I still plodded along. But, was rewarded with all these glorious displays of flowers. Makes up for the 5-months of snow that I trudge through — quite literally.

I Could Not Stop Tripping Over Flowers Today — June 5, 2021.

It was very hot today, 85F. But, I still did my 2-hour, 4.5-mile walk, though I only took the dogs for very short stints. Too hot for them — but I am OK with the heat. Seeing all these flowers made it rather COOL. Enjoy.

Not as many as in some past days, but quality vs quantity today. I am really making an effort to NOT take too many photos each day. When you do take photos every day as I do, they add quickly. IF I only post a few the others go unseen & unappreciated. So, I am trying to economize. SMILE. Enjoy.

Today’s Complement Of Flowers — June 3, 2021.

Just flowers today — but lots of flowers. It is a joy to go out walking & the best is yet to come. So, stay tuned. Enjoy.

‘Rowen’, Our 6-Month Old Newfoundland Puppy Today — June 2, 2021.

What can I say other than that she is cuteness epitomized. A handful still, but a very loving & lovable pup. Still not sure about ‘deep’ water. Wants to explore, sometimes, but hasn’t started to swim as yet.

Kind of making up for the last 2-days. But, yet again, I held back. I knew I had a lot of pictures. Enjoy.

I didn’t take too many. Didn’t see many new flowers that I hadn’t photographed before. So held my fire so to speak. Well, tomorrow is another day. Enjoy.

As Of Today, December 13, 2020 — Evenings Are Getting Longer, Spring Is Around The Corner!

by Anura Guruge

The ‘Shortest Day‘, i.,e, the ‘Winter Solstice‘, is still 9-days away, i.e., December 21, 2020.

As of December 13, 2020, as you can see from above chart, evenings for us, in New Hampshire, are getting longer.

But that doesn’t mean days will start getting longer. Alas, it doesn’t. That only happens as of the Solstice. 9-days away — my FAVORITE DAY of the year.

The reason the days are still getting shorter is that Sunrise continues to be later and later. You can also see that in the chart.

But, this is IT in terms of early Sunsets. It will never get any later.

In a week, December 15, we will have an ADDITIONAL MINUTE in the evenings.

Great news. Spring is around the corner. Rejoice!
