Attractive & Rare Mars & Pleiades Conjunction Tonight — Wednesday, March 3, 2021.

by Anura Guruge

They rarely appear this close together (– & PLEASE remember that in reality ‘they’ are over 440 light-years away, & that is to just one of the closest stars in what is a cluster of at least 1,500 stars, each a huge distance apart from the other). This is the closest we will see them over the next 28-years. Enjoy.

Around 8pm, Eastern (U.S.) is great. OK?

Enjoy.

Some Winter favorites are up there: Pleiades (‘Seven Sisters’ and where ‘Subaru’ gets its name) and Betelgeuse (in Orion). Aldebaran, Betelgeuse & Menkar are ALL orange giants and you can see the orange.

Enjoy. Look up in wonder.
