It is GOOD to have the Canon M5 officially announced.

Pricing is GREAT, availability not so. I do want the 18-150mm. Maybe I will get a small, ‘cheap’ pancake in November and wait patiently till December.

Amazon Has The Wrong Price For The New Pentax K-70 (& 18-135mm Kit).

by Anura Guruge

>> >> Price FIXED 2 hours after my call! << <<

June 13, 2016 at around 11:30am. It has been this for the last couple of days. Just search on “Pentax K-70” against “All Products”. Click to ENLARGE.

Corrected Price, 2 hours later.

Pentax K-70 pricing per June 8, 2016 Ricoh Press Release. Click to ENLARGE. You can find full Press Release at DPReview.com. Search on “Pentax K-70”.

Adorama, for one, has the price right. Click to ENLARGE. From Adorama.com.

This would appear to be a ‘Fat Finger‘ problem. They have put the $899.95 price for the KIT against the body. And that appears to have propagated throughout, with the kit being $250 more — as it is supposed to be.

I spoke with an Amazon Rep. just now. Yes, it is possible to speak with Amazon Reps with no hold-time. I do so often. SMILE. I reported the problem and using my persuasive skills even managed to secure myself a small monetary reward for doing so — though Amazon does NOT have a policy for rewarding those that help them keep their product listings kosher. I am happy. Can’t stop smiling. SMILE.

There really isn’t enough brilliant things I can say about Christmas Revels at Dartmouth — courtesy of the ultra-talented and awfully dedicated Revels North.

Last year’s show was stupendous. The 2011 Olde English extravaganza was mesmerizing. We as a family just love Christmas Revels at Dartmouth. The kids look forward to it and talk about it year round. They know they are in for a treat. Such a rich, multimodal experience for all, but even more so for kids.

So, it made my day when I got the flyer this afternoon. I can’t wait. I already set an alarm for August 14. Usually I am still asleep at 8 am. But, I will get up early so that I can get my tickets the minute they go on sale. That I am willing to get up by 8 am to buy tickets tells it all to those that know me. Since I don’t go to sleep till around 2 am, I like my sleep and something has to be very, very special and important to mess up my sleep schedule.

This looks like another gem, bound to toast the cockles of your heart and get you all set for Christmas.

The Winter Solstice, heralding the coming of Summer, is my favorite day of the year. The Summer Solstice, signaling that days will start getting shorter, each day, until that special Day in December, is my least favorite day of the year. I know my physics and astronomy. So I truly am a Christmas reveler in every sense of the word — and Dartmouth Revels really hits the spot.
