Sure beats a $1,400 stimulus check — at least in my case. True, will not be everyone’s cup of tea. But, I would have gladly traded both my stimulus checks for one of these. Wouldn’t you?
No comparison. But, then again a stimulus checks pays for your upkeep while it would take quite a few stimulus checks, a month, to pay for the upkeep of a lighthouse. I guess that is the catch. Like timeshare. It is the maintenance fees that will cripple ya.
Well, I doubt they will give me a free lighthouse though I know, deep inside, that I am deserving & worthy.
Maybe you might have a better chance. Well, I have given you the heads up. Google.
It is SCARY that Google keeps track of EVERYWHERE I go!
Well, this is there summary of my travels in 2020 — COVID-19 or NO COVID-19.
In the end I travelled as much as I normally would have — THOUGH I did not take any type of public transport, get ANY takeout or go to a restaurant as of March 2020. So, all of these trips were road trips — many of them documented here.
The sheer damn INGENUITY of humans — and their innate nature to be deceive — never ceases to amaze me.
What is mind boggling here is that they can get away with it in Maine. Basically means that the Maine folks do not realize that the address is that of an empty field and that ‘100’ cars are registered against that address.
You have to read the story.
NO can DO in strict, law-abiding (Live Free Or Die) New Hampshire. To avoid out-of-staters (i.e., flatlanders) from abusing the system, we the residents have to jump through hoops to register cars. Have to show proof of residence, electricity bills etc. etc.
This is wild.
But, you have to hand it to them. Damn clever. I take my hat off.

I like to follow, whenever I can, the “America’s Cup” — and did watch all the races in the dramatic 2013 cup when Oracle staged its amazing come-from-behind victory. I guess I missed the 2017 races in June! I will have to try and find them on YouTube. Yes, it is on YouTube:

Only Rhode Island, of the Northeast States, comes in any worse. Not good. To be beaten by Maine! Sacrebleu, is there no pride left in N.H.
What is worse is that N.H. obesity is on the increase. Not good.
This is a shame. It is becoming noticeable. When we were in Phoenix Airport, last month, while waiting for our luggage, we were forced to comment on this: ‘you don’t see this many THIN people at home’! Saying that the climate helps is only part of the story. I really would like to see this trend reversed.
