Trump Will Win New Hampshire & It Will Be A ‘Red Tide’ Come November 2016!

I hope I am wrong, but I don’t think so.

Hillary Clinton is NO Barack Hussein Obama II and Hillary’s continued stumbles, yesterday’s health flap among them, continue to weaken her case. And remember she did NOT carry New Hampshire in the primary. There are still a lot of disgruntled Bernie supporters lurking among the goldenrods.

Those that know me know that I am a keen, diligent and incisive observer of local politics — plus after all the door-to-door campaigning I did in 2008 & 2012 for Obama I can tell which way the winds are blowing when it comes to the Lakes Region.

I also carefully study political road signs. In my experience in New Hampshire (and that is the only state that I know in this matter) the presidential candidate with LESS SIGNS invariably wins the State! Check it out. In 2012 if you went by the blanketing of Romney signs across the State then Romney should have carried NH by a Landslide. Obama won NH by 40,659 votes in 2012 (and I knew he would). Yesterday, in Alton, I saw more Hillary signs than Trump. Not good. Trump supporters are NOT bothering with the signs because they don’t have to. Preaching to the choir and all of that.

So, you have been warned.

Revisiting My Exclusive New Hampshire ‘Red-Blue Map’ From 2012 — Obama v. Romney. NH Will Be MORE Red In 2016.

by Anura Guruge

In 2012, contradicting what you would have thought if you just went by all of the roadside political signs you saw in New Hampshire, President Barack Obama again won New Hampshire (a battleground state, and superficially ‘red’), by 40,659 votes (5.8%).

The NH voting was done in terms of 237 ‘towns’; Obama won 142, lost 94 and one, Dixville, was a tie.

Of the 10 NH Counties, Obama won 7, lost 3.

I painstakingly created these maps (in November 2012) to see how this victory was wrought.

As some of you know I campaigned like a black for Obama in 2008 & 2012 — going door-to-door (at least 450 houses in each instance), doing phone-banks, making signs, stuffing bags, taking people to the polls on election day and feeding (on my own dime) the other Obama volunteers in Laconia on multiple nights.

I haven’t volunteered as yet in 2016 for the Presidential election — though yesterday I marched in the Gilford ‘Old Home Day’ parade, with Devanee, for our friend, Lisa DiMartino who is running as a Democrat for a seat in the New Hampshire House (District 2: Gilford & Meredith).

I am, for all my shortcomings, a keen observer and follower of New Hampshire politics. The 2016 ‘RedBlue‘ map will be DIFFERENT to that of 2012. It will be MORE RED!

I could be wrong, I HOPE I am wrong, BUT I do NOT think it is a given that Hillary Clinton will carry New Hampshire.

I agree that there is a HIDDEN Trump vote that is not reflected in the polls.

So those that think that New Hampshire is still ‘Blue’ could be in for a NASTY surprise.

Just a Heads Up.

This is SO Lake Winnipesaukee — the playground of the ultra-rich, President Mittens Romney, Wolfeboro, NH.

Of course, I would love one but my house is cheaper than this beaut. But, of course, there are plenty around who could buy one of these on their AmEx and not even notice it.

To see these puppies over Alton Bay would be something.

We could have flying hovercraft racing up and down the Bay. Might be as good as the 2013 Americas Cup — those boats just looked like they were flying. These puppies really fly.

I will try and see IF Steve Parker, of Parker Marine, will sign-up with Hammacher-Schlemmer to be a sub-distributor and get a few of these into his marina. For those who know that marina, you have to navigate under a bridge to get to the main lake per se. Not so with these. There is plenty of taxiway on ‘the river’ prior to the bridge. You can pickup speed and then FLY over the bridge. WOW.

These could rejuvenate this aging Lake. We really need new genres of toys for the rich. Some of my other suggestions for this Lake given that I know it well and know what people like …

The BIG picture is well known, and well documented.

President Barack Obama again won New Hampshire, this time by 40,659 votes (5.8%). as a battleground state, and superficially ‘red’, especially if you went by the roadside political signs.

The NH voting was done in terms of 237 ‘towns’; Obama won 142, lost 94 and one, Dixville, was a tie.

But, here you can see, graphically how each town voted.

Yes, I did this by hand!

Lets start by looking at the map from ‘30,000’ feet to get a feel of the ‘blue’ vs ‘red’ distribution.

In the above cited post I presented my credentials as to my expertise in most things computer related.

I won’t divulge much, but let me just let you ponder on one key thing. These days WHO do you think is always BEHIND any mobile App.?

If you don’t know, let me help you out. With most of today’s apps. there are invariably one or more ‘Indians’ writing the code. Indians now dominate the software development field. Period.

Well we know how the Indians [i.e., Asians] voted.

Compromising an App is a piece of cake. It is so easy it is laughable. Much of it has to do with ‘Web service‘ and I have even written a book about it. All you have to do is to put in a call to a Web service and then manipulate that Web service on election day. Bingo. Cannot be detected.

I laughed so much. Oh, dear. This is not your father’s software.

This is so, so RIGHT. Data, if you look, provided by no other than Fox Business News! Click to access the ‘Happy Place’ Website. Hilarious. Where is Maine, though they voted, probably accidentally, Obama.

With this one YOU have to read the comments. So you have to visit.

How Obama Won New Hampshire — The In-Depth, Town-by-Town Data Analysis.

Well, we all know that President Barack Obama again won New Hampshire, which was a battleground state, and superficially ‘red’, especially if you went by the roadside political signs.

Voting in NH is done in terms of 237 ‘towns’, a few of them having multiple precincts such that there is a total of 301 precincts. This ‘deep dive’ computerized analysis, however, is done in terms of the 237 ‘towns’ as this is the most germane and meaningful.

A Grand Total of 705,874 valid votes were cast in
New Hampshire on November 6, 2012.

Obama got 368,529 (52.2%) of those votes.

Romney got 327,870 (46.4%) votes and the two ‘independents’, Goode and Johnson, got 1,156 (0.2%) and 8,319 (1.2%) respectively.

Obama thus won by 40,659 votes (5.8%).

But the above doesn’t tell you the whole, intriguing story. So given that computerized data analysis is something that I relish doing (and do a lot in terms of my papal history research) I went about setting up an Excel spread sheeting and analyzing the data. I got the raw data from WMUR, from this page. [No, I did not type it in. It is all a matter of ‘copy-paste-replace-replace-tabulate-cut-paste’ and viola!]

Obama won more votes than Romeny in 142 ( 59.9%) towns in NH. So that is more than is 52.2% ‘popular’ vote win.

He won Dalton’s 492 votes by ONE (1)!; Obama 241, Romney 240 & Johnson 11.

He won Deering by 3.

*******

Obama lost 94 towns to Romney, with Dixville (the 1st in the Nation to announce the vote) the ONLY tie.

Obama lost Haverhill by 1 vote.

The towns in which Obama had the greatest majority in terms of the votes cast (i.e., ‘%). Lyme tops the list, with intellectual Hanover, home of ‘Dartmouth’, coming in next. This list makes interesting reading.

Obama New Hampshire Win by Anura Guruge

The towns that were the most Pro-Romney in terms of ‘%’, and it grieves me that New Ispwich (which was my 1st home in NH, 1986 to 1996 and still home to my eldest, though my son voted in MA) and Alton (2007 ->) are right there at the bottom! But, we won.

This chart, which shows the top 10 numerical plurality that Obama enjoyed tells the story as to how and where Obama won NH. He won all the big [i.e., most populous] towns. As Bill Clinton will say, the rest is arithmetic.

Where Obama won BIG. Click to ENLARGE.

So just in these 10 towns he got a 41,722 vote lead.

In the 142 towns he carried, his total lead was 73,213.

In the 94 towns he lost, his deficit was 32,554 — hence the overall 40,569 win.

The town with the numerically largest anti-Obama vote was Bedford, with 3,277. Alton’s ‘margin’ was 940, that of Gilford 315.

Though I am very possessive of my popes-related Excel spread sheets, I am happy to freely share with Excel spread sheet with anyone else who is interested. Just e-mail me.

Lakes Region (NH) Economy Booming Per Local Builders.

Anura Guruge, laughing, picture November 16, 2011.

….
by Anura Guruge

The economy around here, i.e., Lakes Region, NH,
must be booming per what I heard from
three local builders yesterday.

No wonder it is Romney country. The folks around here, us being the exceptions, must be making so much money that their taxes must be through the roof. And there was poor me (with the emphasis on ‘poor’) thinking that folks around here, especially those in the building industry, were not doing that well. Silly me. What doesn’t add up, per what Bill Clinton would say is ‘arithmetic‘, is how come all these people thrash President Obama and what he has done to the economy WHEN they are doing so well — better than they have ever done from what I can see, and I have had a place up here since 1991.

I am still agitating to get Old Railway Semaphore signals in Alton Bay painted — per this post in early August 2012. I happened to meet the young lady in charge of this at Alton Central School (ACS) yesterday and she said that she intends to get some estimates for the painting job from local builders/painters. Since I know a few, I decided to push things along a bit by approaching them and telling them to submit bids. I personally met with two yesterday afternoon and spoke with the third by phone. Boy, was I in for a surprise.

They laughed at me. They basically said that they MIGHT be able to get around to providing an estimate this time NEXT YEAR! That is how busy they are. One of them, who specializes in constructing crème de la crème waterfront houses said he was fully booked for the next few years! And they say that we have had a downturn in construction. The other two, both well known local contractors, said they were booked well into June of 2013!

I am delighted for them. They were all very chuffed themselves. Couldn’t stop going on about how good life was. That is great. So how come people claim that things are bad under poor President Obama?

Very confusing. I am still trying to find people to submit estimates. So, if you are interested contact me or Alton Parks and Rec.
