Roston Chase is THE MAN!

The exciting new face & talent of
West Indian cricket.

Pretty spectacular Test career — as he is played as an allrounder.

Only played in 10 Tests and he has scored 3 centuries and 3 fifties! That is 6 significant innings in 10 matches. Not bad. He has also taken 17 wickets.

He has already done the century and 5 wickets in an innings in the same Test already — in his 2nd Test.

The West Indies could have saved the 3rd Test against Pakistan. C’est la vie.

To think that he is the next Sobers is way too premature. But he is going in the right direction. Maybe the next Carl Hooper.

RostonChase

At least a couple of things of note here.

1/ Two instances in consecutive Test matches in a series … 9 days apart.

2/ It was BUT Roston Chase’s 2nd Test match. That was SPECIAL.

Ashwin has done it twice BUT it appears that that is not that special! Dear Botham did it 5 times — twice in 1978. Very select list. Sobers, Mushtaq, Tony Greig, Imran, Wasim, Kallis …

I watched ALL of the Roston Chase century. It was special. I was impressed.

Well done Roston. That Vivian Richards was on his feet applauding him was wonderful to see. What a GREAT game
